This Notice to the Profession and Parties applies to proceedings in the Superior Court of Justice, Central East Region, commencing August 15, 2022.
Counsel and parties are also advised to refer to the relevant Parts of the Court’s Consolidated Provincial Practice Directions.

I. EXPANSION OF CASELINES
Effective August 15, 2022, Central East (CE) will expand its requirement of Case Center use to include all events noted below:

- Case Conferences
- Long Motions
- Settlement Conferences
- Regular (Short) Motions
- Trial Scheduling Conference
- Trial Management Conference

Counsel and parties are reminded to adhere to all filing and upload requirements associated with each respective event.

Please note that briefs, draft reports, and any other documents shall be uploaded into Case Center into the applicable event bundle. These documents should not be filed by email to the trial coordinator’s office. Cases and source material, including any facta, must be tabbed and hyperlinked. Failure to do so may result in the matter not proceeding as scheduled.
