On January 25, 2025, the Court of Appeal hosted the second Rosenberg Mentorship Moot. Inspired by the Honourable Marc Rosenberg — a judge on the court from 1995 to 2015 — the moot pairs junior counsel with experienced Crown and defence mentors. Participants argue a mock criminal appeal before Court of Appeal judges and special guest judges. For the first time this year, the moot included an opportunity to argue the mock appeal in French.
